Christine Blasey Ford and the person who allegedly assaulted her, SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, speak to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
California psychology professor Christine Blasey Ford will answer questions of the Senate Judiciary Committee today at 10 a.m. Eastern. Following her testimony -- in which the all-male Republicans on the committee will defer to an outside female counsel to ask Ford questions -- Kavanaugh will attempt to rebut Ford's charge that he tried to rape her, and nearly killed her, when they were teenagers in the early 1980s.
Live coverage of the testimony can be seen below, via The Washington Post.
Kavanaugh, currently an anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ appeals court judge, is accused by three other women of gender-based violence, including exposing himself, participating in gang rapes, and shoving a woman against a wall.
