On Saturday the 2017 Capital Trans Pride Day at Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C., drew together transgender people and their allies, colleagues, family, and friends for a day of celebration, workshops, and panel discussions on a variety of issues important to the trans community. There was an open mike and evening program hosted by Rayceen Pendarvis of The Ask Rayceen Show, and special guest Gavin Grimm attended.
