These two Nevada high-schoolers will never forget this year's prom season.
Remember that really sweet story about the straight, Las Vegas teen who asked his gay best friend to prom? Well, the story just got a whole lot sweeter.
The always magnanimous Ellen DeGeneres, in true fashion, invited Nevada high schoolers Jacob Lescenski and Anthony Martinez to Wednesday's episode of her hit daytime talk show and surprised them each with $10,000 college scholarships.
The two started a social media firestorm last Thursday when Lescenski, using a banner that read "You're hella gay. I'm hella str8, but you're like my brother, so be my d8?" asked Martinez to prom.

"I couldn't believe it," Martinez said when interviewed by DeGeneres. "They opened up the sign and then all I see is Jacob with his arms wide open, and I was like 'That's for me!'"
