The Embracing Our Traditions, Values, and Teachings: Native Peoples of North America HIV/AIDS Conference is set for May 2-6 in Anchorage, Alaska. The conference, designed by and for Native Americans, will focus on research, treatment, care, support, mental health, HIV prevention, stigma, and leadership issues for Native Americans. Organizers expect about 800 attendees. The event will be held at the William A. Egan Civic and Convention Center, 555 W. Fifth Ave. Registration is due by March 31.
