Project Runway fans, take note: Frances
Berwick, executive vice president of programming and
production at Bravo, announced Wednesday that
Project Runway's reunion special and season
finale will air during the month of October.
The reunion special, scheduled for Wednesday,
October 4, at 10 p.m., will feature host Heidi Klum,
mentor Tim Gunn, and all the designers reuniting to
discuss the highlights and unexpected twists of season 3.
The special will also feature interviews with cast
members, deleted scenes, and more.
"For the first time, we gave our loyal
Project Runway fans a summer season, and
the response has been astounding, resulting in the
highest ratings for any Bravo broadcast ever. This show
has truly connected with Bravo viewers like no other," said
Berwick. "The reunion special and finale promise to be
exciting, dramatic, and, as always, unpredictable."
The two-part season finale will air at 10 p.m.
on consecutive Wednesdays, October 11 and October
18. What can fans expect from the finale? For the
first half, the designers will be preparing their fashion
lines for Olympus Fashion Week in New York City. As in
past season finales, Tim Gunn will visit the designers
at home and speak with their friends and families. The
second half will see the finalists duel it out on
the runway during Olympus Fashion Week, after
which the winner of Project Runway will be
announced.
