Logo, the television channel for the LGBT audience, announced the January hosts for its music program NewNowNext Music. The show features rising LGBT bands and artists, premiering new episodes every Sunday at midnight (Eastern time) and re-airing them throughout the week. Streaming videos from each episode are also available free online, along with exclusive interviews with the artists.
Upcoming hosts include: Placebo, a U.K.-based alternative rock band, on January 7; Now It's Overhead, an indie rock band based in Athens, Ga., fronted by singer-songwriter Andy LeMaster, on January 14; Matthew Duffy and Liz Clark, who combine pop, electronica, and folk rock, on January 28; and Deadlee, a rapper who fuses hip-hop and rap with thrash rock, on February 4.
