Kim Moss steps down after guiding Memphis AIDS organization for six years.
Kim Moss, executive director of the Memphis, Tenn.-based AIDS service organization Friends for Life, announced that he is resigning his position, reports the Memphis Commercial Appeal. Moss served as executive director for six years and spent a total of 14 years working for the agency. He is credited with helping Friends for Life eliminate $600,000 in long-standing debt and raising $1 million for a new headquarters for the organization and to renovate apartments the agency provides to HIV-positive clients. Moss plans to continue working with the agency as a grant writer. A national search for Moss's replacement will get under way soon, says board chairwoman Jeanne Richardson. (The Advocate)
