 Variety reports that busy out producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are considering attaching themselves as executive producers of a new TV version of the Broadway musical Once Upon a Mattress. This retelling of "The Princess and the Pea" will star Carol Burnett as the Queen. (Decades ago Burnett made a big splash on Broadway playing the Princess.) Hairspray's Marisa Jaret Winokur is being courted for the lead role.
