Winter Pride
fund-raiser, January 20 in Astoria, N.Y.

Winter Pride, the annual fund-raiser for the Queens [N.Y.] Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Parade and Festival, will be held on January 20, 7 p.m. to midnight, at the Astoria World Manor, 25-22 Astoria Blvd., in Astoria. The pride parade is held the first Sunday in June in Jackson Heights. This year Rep. Barney Frank from Massachussetts and Dirk McCall, president of the Stonewall Democratic Club and director for external affairs at Quality Services for the Autistic Community, will be honored.

Winter Pride will include a 12-item buffet, a "white-glove" sit-down dinner with choice of entree, dancing, an open bar, and music by DJ Eddie Cruz. Tickets are $80 ($85 at the door). For further information call Danny at (718) 457-2928.
