Despite a public slamming from the Parents Television Council, Glee's "controversial" sex episode seemed tamer than many of the shows currently running on ABC Family.

There was nothing gratuitous about Blaine and Kurt's first time. As viewers learned, the experience was not unlike the first time of most teenagers. Except, of course, for the West Side Story soundtrack.
