Recently, Rep. Michele Bachmann was approached at a South Carolina book signing by an 8-year-old boy named Elijah, who told the GOP presidential candidate, "Miss Bachmann, my mommy's gay, but she doesn't need fixing."
Responding to the incident, a video of which has since attracted more than 3.4 million hits on YouTube, Bachmann told Glenn Beck Tuesday, "I believe that we love all people, I love everyone. I don't necessarily agree with them. ...Continually the agenda-driven community wants to climb up on my platform and make their issue my issue, and paint me as someone that I'm not."
In a heated Wednesday evening exchange with gay rights advocate Sally Kohn, Fox News' Bill O'Reilly slammed the Elijah incident as "appalling."
