8. DVD: Kawa/This Is What Love in Action Looks Like
In Kawa, an acclaimed psychological drama from Down Under, a New Zealand businessman is forced to reveal his lifelong secret that he is gay. The documentary This Is What Love in Action Looks Like chronicles the protests that followed a teenage boy in Tennessee being sent to a reform camp for being gay. Both are available on DVD Tuesday.

4. THEATRE: Follies
The Tony-nominated Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's 1971 masterpiece now sparkles in Los Angeles like fine champagne. As old frenemies stuck in a soapy love quadrangle, peerless divas Victoria Clark and Jan Maxwell headline this reunion for aging chorines, but the show's secret weapon is Elaine Paige, who entertains maybe-gay cater waiters with her impassioned "I'm Still Here." In the television premiere of Judas Kiss, Dante's Cove star Charlie David plays a failed filmmaker who has a steamy one-night stand with a student and learns he can change his own future by adjusting the student's path.
