Out actress Kristen Stewart, gearing up for a new version of Charlie's Angels, is promising that the film will showcase female empowerment. "The reimagining is so grounded and well intentioned and really shows the way women can work together now," she recently told Entertainment Tonight. Currently in preproduction, the film is set to star Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Elia Balinska, with director and cowriter Elizabeth Banks featured as Bosley. A 2019 release is expected.
