Chicago's Howard Brown Health Center, which focuses on providing care to the city's gay and lesbian population as well as HIV-positive Chicagoans, recently launched an outpatient treatment program for people struggling with crystal methamphetamine dependence, Windy City Times reports. Called "Crystal Clear," the intensive treatment program provides counseling sessions, meetings with a care manager, and referrals to additional legal, financial, and social service programs. Other services offered through "Crystal Clear" and through Howard Brown include HIV antibody testing and counseling, HIV treatment, and primary medical care. (Advocate.com)
