The policemen who arrived on the scene to harass gay men during the Stonewall Inn riots 35 years ago will march in this year's New York City gay pride parade, the New York Post reports. According to the paper, Richie Ornstein and Frank Toscano will be driving a replica of the patrol car they were in that night. They are also writing a screenplay about the event, which many gay men and lesbians feel marked the start of the modern gay rights movement. Also, the Stonewall Veterans Association owns the 1969 Cadillac convertible that was parked outside the bar at the time of the riot. Ornstein told the newspaper, "This time, instead of throwing beer bottles they'll be throwing kisses."
