A man will be able to receive the pension of his late partner even
though they hid their relationship from family members, the Tel Aviv
District Labor Court ruled Monday.
The Makefet pension fund has been ordered to pay a survivor's pension to the surviving partner, whose name was withheld from the article on YNet.com. The court also ruled that same-sex couples should not have the burdensome task of proving that they are in a committed relationship in order to collect such benefits, even if the relationship is a secret among family and acquaintances.
