The gigolo character on HBO's Hung has been strictly a ladies' man, but for the show's third season, which begins in October, Thomas Jane's Ray Drecker will have customers that include a transgender woman and, possibly, gay men.
Stiff competition in the Detroit gigolo world leads Drecker to expand his customer base, according to TV Guide's William Keck. Drecker will be hired by Kyla, a pre-op transgender woman, who may actually become his girlfriend. Kyla is played by Jamie Clayton, a transgender actress.
"They had to kiss for hours," show creator Colette Burson says of Jane and Clayton. "After [Jane's] initial shyness, she became a woman for him."
The show may also have the Drecker character bedding male characters, though that is not yet confirmed. Read more here.
