Sandra Bernhard Tells Young LGBT People to Never Be Ashamed or Embarrassed

Sandra Bernhard says never having to be ashamed or embarrassed about who you are is the beauty of being in the 21st century, in a new video for the Trailblazer Project.

Bernhard tells viewers that she's always been open and confident about who she is and that anytime they're feeling funky there's a whole network of people to reach out to, including her.

The campaign was launched by actor-activist James Duke Mason to encourage closeted entertainers to come out and be role models to other LGBT young people.
