One of the most familiar emblems from the early days of the gay rights movement is now in the Smithsonian Museum: Harvey Milk’s bullhorn.

The gay and red bullhorn that Harvey Milk used to rally crowds in San Francisco -- and later gifted to fellow LGBT rights activist Cleve Jones -- is now displayed for all to see in Washington, D.C.
