Matt Walsh used a Tropical Storm Harvey rescue to police gender roles, while Coulter combined homophobia and climate change denial. The response was epic.
Disasters often bring out both the best and the worst in people. Examples of the worst in responses to Tropical Storm Harvey's devastation came on Twitter from Matt Walsh, a commentator for right-wing site The Blaze, and the ever-outrageous Ann Coulter. He used a picture of a rescue to enforce traditional gender roles, while she managed to combine homophobia and climate change denial. But other Twitter users responded, and the result was often hilarious.
