Gay Man Exacts Revenge on Homophobic Mom by Revealing Meatloaf Recipe

Man with meatloaf

The most controversial part of his post is the revelation that her recipe does not call for bread crumbs.

Just in time for holiday meals, a Tumblr post by a gay man who released his mother's meatloaf recipe to exact revenge on her for not accepting him has gone viral. The short post, titled "Revenge Meatloaf," explains that as a boy he adored his mother's meatloaf, and she eventually passed her recipe along to him. Sadly, she was also anti-LGBTQ, according to his post.

"When I was little my mom's meatloaf was my favorite food. But ONLY her meatloaf. I didn't like anyone else's, and she told me that she would teach me how to make it when I was older," the man wrote on Tumblr. "When I was like 19? She finally taught me, but she told me never to tell anyone else and I was like weird but okay. Anyway, she was super fucking homophobic and abusive to me when I told her I was gay, so here's the recipe."

While the man used a recipe to get back at his homophobic mother, the most controversial thing about his piece as evidenced in the responses is that her recipe for meatloaf does not call for bread crumbs.

Here's the post.
