In a turn of events that can only be described as Trumpian, the president-elect has decided to appoint Scott Pruitt, an ally of the fossil fuel industry and climate change denier, to run the Environmental Protection Agency.

Late Show host Stephen Colbert has likened this to appointing Joe Camel to the position of surgeon general. Pruitt believes climate change does not exist, and he will now be leading the agency tasked with combating it, an undoubtedly challenging position. "He's going to be getting some angry calls from himself come January," Colbert joked.
